Program Policies

General Policies:

  • All clinics and lessons have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 24 hours of the lesson start time, you will still be charged for the session.
  • Gift Certificates are non-refundable.
  • Classes are non-transferable and non-refundable.

 

Private Lessons and Class Policies:

  • The coach designated for you class is subject to change.
  • If you are 15 minutes or more late for class or lessons you may lose your reservation.
  • If you are not in the correct class, the coach will ask you to leave that class and direct you to the proper level class.
  • If you add your name to a clinic waitlist, you may be added to the clinic anytime prior to 24 hours of the clinic start time. You are responsible for removing yourself from the waitlist if you cannot make the clinic. You will not be automatically moved into the clinic within 24 hours of the clinic start time.
  • If you sign up for a clinic with spots available while on the waitlist for a separate clinic in the same time frame, you are responsible for removing yourself off the waitlist prior to 24 hours of the clinic to avoid being charged for both if you are moved up from the waitlist.
  • Private lessons may only be cancelled through phone or email, cancellations for private lessons cannot be done through the online portal.

Low Attendance Clinic Policy:

1 Hour Clinics:
2+ players = 1 hour clinic
1 player = 45 minute clinic

1.5 Hour Clinics:
1 player= 45 minute clinics
2 players= 1 hour clinic
3+ players= 1.5 hour clinic

Youth Camp Policies:

-Parents will need to both sign in and out their child.
-There are no weather cancellations/refunds; camp is rain or shine!

-Make sure you send your child with a water bottle. We do have a water fountain inside the pro shop where they will be able to refill their bottle if needed.
-Please have your child bring their own racquets if you have one. If not, we have racquets available for use at our center.
-We will be providing one snack for all campers, so please send your child with an additional snack if they need one. If your child has any allergy restrictions, please contact us and we can create a plan.
-Please, do not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to camp for safety reasons.
-Gathering in the facility lobby will not be allowed.
-Practice Social Distancing on the court, in the building, and in the parking lots. Masks are recommended while in the building.
-We encourage your child to bring their own hand sanitizer and ask that they wash their hands before and after class. However, your child will have access to both hand sanitizer and soap and water throughout the camp.

Camp Cancellation Policy as Follows:
Cancellations 1 week or more prior to the camp start date will receive full camp fee credit back
Cancellations within 3-6 days of camp start date will receive 50% of camp fee credit back
Cancellations within 2 days of camp start date will not receive camp credit or refund

We must have minimum of 4 campers to hold the camp.  If camp is cancelled due to low numbers, an email notification will be sent by 5pm the evening prior to camp.

Court Reservation Policies:

      • Court reservations open up 48 hours in advance beginning at 8:45am each morning both online at rippner.clubautomation.com and through phone.
      • Court reservations cannot be made further than 48 hours out.
      • Fees:
        • Adult $4.00 per person (18-61)
        • Senior $3.00 per person (62 & over)
        • Junior $2.00 per person (17 & under)
        • Non-resident Court Fees $5.00 per person – No distinction of age.
        • Fees are for 1 1⁄2 hour for singles and 2 hours for doubles
      • Payment of court fees will be made prior to using the court
      • All participants must sign-in with pro shop
      • No cash refunds will be made after fees have been rung into the cash register.
      • Backboard/practice wall use is free.
      • Concessions and cans of balls are non-refundable

 

Weather Policies:

      • If courts are wet due to rain and classes are cancelled, you will be notified via email one hour prior to the start of class.  If rain begins within 1 hour of class we will send notification asap, however, we cannot guarantee advance notice as is the nature of inclement weather.
      • If the actual temperature is 32 degrees or below, or windchill factor of 30 degrees or below classes may be called off
      • Actual heat or heat index of 105 degrees or higher classes may be called off
      • Sustained winds of 30 mph or higher classes may be called off

 

Payment Options:

Payment Option 1: You can pay for your clinics at the time of registration. If you are to remove yourself from any clinics outside of our 24-hour cancellation policy, you will receive a credit to your account for future classes. You will need to email our team to apply these credits to your registrations at reservationos@rippnertennis.com

Payment Option 2: You can use the house charge method. This method will allow you to register for clinics online without payment at time of registration, and will bill all of your clinics and lessons each week on one single day (the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th of each month). Note that unpaid lessons or clinic registrations between the 7th-13th of each month will be picked up on the 14th, registrations and lessons between the 14th-20th will be picked up on the 21st, and so on. On the days that your clinics are billed, the system will automatically use any account credits before it charges your card. This is an opt-in service only, so if you would like to use this method please make sure you have a card on file first, and then email us at reservations@rippnertennis.com
