Which Class Is Right for Your Child?
Beginner
Yellow BallFor new players learning the fundamentals: grip, swing basics, contact point, footwork, and how to start rallying. Most instruction is coach-fed as players build consistency.
Intermediate
Yellow BallFor players who can rally consistently and are developing court awareness. Emphasis is on patterns, movement, point construction basics, and improving serve/return consistency.
Advanced
Yellow BallFor experienced players with solid stroke fundamentals who are ready for faster pace, higher intensity drilling, and more tactical training.
Matchplay Clinics
Point-based play focused on strategy, decision-making, and learning how to compete. Great for players who want more live-ball reps and game experience.
Junior Serving Clinics
Specialty clinics focused on developing a reliable and effective serve.

Clinic Policies
Class Policies
- 24-hour cancellation policy. Late cancellations and class, location, and level switches within 24 hours are charged in full. Earlier cancellations receive account credit only.
- Clinics are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- External coaching is not permitted. Only RippnerTennis coaches may provide instruction.
- Coach assignments may change without notice.
- Late arrivals of 15 minutes or more may result in loss of reservation.
- Players registered for an incorrect level may be asked to switch to a more appropriate class. If no suitable classes are available at that time, the player is not eligible for a refund.
- Court assignments are subject to change. The court you reserve is not guaranteed, and you may be moved to a different court as needed.
- Visitors and parents are not allowed to be on court for the duration of a clinic.
- RippnerTennis is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Unclaimed belongings will be donated or discarded as needed.
Weather Policy
- Weather-related cancellations are communicated via email and/or app notifications (must be enabled).
- Classes may be canceled for temperatures at or below 32°F or wind chill at or below 30°F.
- Temperatures at or above 105°F may result in cancellation.
- Sustained winds at or above 30 mph may result in cancellation.
- Partial cancellations are charged only for completed session time.
Rain Cancellation Credit
Credit returned based on minutes completed before cancellation. Credits apply toward future bookings.
