Rippner Red Ball Summer Camp

  • Ages 5 to 8
  • Students in this half-day program will improve their athletic and tennis skill sets in a rally-based environment. Our coaches will encourage cooperation and sportsmanship while the students test their limits through competition. In addition to tennis, our red ball students will take part in activities presented by our partners. In the past, these activities have included art, foreign language, and yoga. We still have no solidified our partners for the summer and will post this information as soon as it becomes available. Our Red Ball Summer and Activities Camp includes students from ages 5 through 8 and players will be grouped when appropriate.

Rippner Top Shots Summer Camp

  • Ages 9 and Up
  • Rippner Top Shots camps is for competitive and noncompetitive players alike, this camp encompases Orange, Green and Yellow Ball players. Students will improve their athletic and tennis skills, while having the times of their lives. In this camp players will be divided into competitive and noncompetitive groups based upon age and skill level where they will learn proper technique, play team oriented games and point play. We encourage play based learning, meaning no matter the age or skill level we look to have all players rallying on daily basis. We will also include non tennis games and activities as well, we believe in developing the whole athlete. Our coaches will encourage cooperation and sportsmanship while the students test their limits through competition.
  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 11:00 am

Rippner High Performance Futures

  • Non-Qualified Tournament Players
  • The High Performance Futures Camp includes high intensity training for the most tournament committed students. Each camp day will include footwork development, range of motion exercises, and core strength training. Students will training their tennis game using the Five Competitive Situations (rallying, net approaching, defending the attack, serving, and returning). Each class will involve match play and a discussion on the Severn Qualities of a Champion (Determination, Toughness, Respect, Resiliency, Professionalism, Engagement, and Confidence). Players in these camps are accustomed to navigating the USTA tournament calendar and should be entering the CATA Gran Prix, Challengers, and local open events.
  • Monday – Thursday: 1:00pm – 4:00pm (on court intensive training/fitness/coached match play)

Rippner High Performance

  • The High Performance Camp includes high intensity training for the most tournament committed students. Each camp day will include footwork development, range of motion exercises, and core strength training.
