Parents:
(1) Please register with 10sPortal in order to move forward with registration. The Parent who registers will be the “Primary” on the account and their children will be “Secondary’s” on the account. To add your children as “secondary’s” click the “My Account” button (top right), then open the “Account Information” tab, then click the “+ Add Secondary User” button (in red) to add your children

(2) You will need to add a Credit Card on file. Click ‘My Account”, then the “Credit Card” tab, then “+add new card” (in red)

(3) For Registration click the “Home” button, open the “Activities” tab, “Junior Programs” tab and choose the class you want to register for and follow the navigation. If you have issues registering please contact Michael MacVay at [email protected]. If a “Session” has already begun and you failed to register in advance only a Michael MacVay can process your registration.

Session 1: June 3rd through June 25th
Session 2: July 15th August 13th

Days Offered during each Session: You can choose any combination of the classes listedSaturdays and Sundays 10:45am – 11:45am

Class Description: This class also serves as an entry point for many of our young students and we will begin or continue with the skills needed for tennis advancement. Increasingly, coaches will design more self-fed cooperative games so that the students become self-sufficient and learns the sport organically. Games in this class will emphasize proper tennis reaction and impart skills that will eventually develop a rally. Some students may even choose to compete for the first time in Junior Team Tennis.

Suggested Equipment: 21″ – 23″ tennis racquet, water bottle, athletic shoes, sport and weather-appropriate clothing
Student-to-Teacher Ratio: 6:1
Skills Introduced: basic hand-eye coordination, ball tracking, tennis-appropriate reactions, self-fed games (feeding), basic rallying, respect and good sportsmanship and cooperation within a group setting.
